It’s a Labor Day Tradition and a bang-up ending to the summer.
Fenders fly on the Allentown Fairground’s historic racetrack when drivers of jalopies crash and smash into each other in qualifying heats until the last vehicle running takes the final to become The Beast of the East Champion!
This is a classic automotive event that you just can’t see every day.
Three fender crunching heats, featuring full size cars, 80’s or newer and compact cars will return to
the Fair along with a new exhibition that includes the battery operated riding toys, Power Wheels.
The Kids Power Wheels exhibition allows children ages 4-10 to show off their driving skills on the historic racetrack.
"Including the Power Wheels exhibition at this year’s Allentown Fair is a great way to incorporate
future drivers of this sport" says promoter Mike Rauenzahn of J&J Demolition Derby.
Tickets are $15 and $10 for ages 12 and under.
